Who I am

A roofer who can't roof anymore

I'm Thomas Fristed. I spent 22 years roofing and building homes in Oregon, from The Dalles to Ashland. Then a car crash ended it, and I couldn't roof anymore.

What I knew didn't have to go with the ladder. So I built the tools instead, with an AI partner beside me, and I give them to the people who still do the work.

I would rather be part of a team than a millionaire.

The struggle, straight

Why I'm broke

  1. I gave up my own house making customers whole, a year before the wreck.
  2. The crash took the ladder, and the company's income stopped with it.
  3. I chose to pay my debt instead of filing bankruptcy.
  4. I pay for my tools. No free tiers. I borrowed the $50 to support one of them, and it was the best $50 I ever spent.
  5. No revenue from RooferX yet. My own number is red, and I'm facing it head on.
